NORTHERN RAILWAY OBSERVES 126TH BIRTH-ANNIVESARY OF BHARAT RATNA LATE DR. B.R.AMBEDKAR TODAY IN NEW DELHI




            Northern Railway observed the 126thBirth Anniversary Celebrations of national leader and chief architect of the Constitution of India Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R.Ambedkar at its Headquarters office, Baroda House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi today. Marking the solemn occasion with great reverence Shri R.K.Kulshrestha, General Manager, Northern Railway lit the ceremonial lamp and paid tributes to the national leader. All Principal Heads of departments along with representatives of recognised unions and associations were present o­n the occasion.

            Speaking o­n the occasion, Shri Kulshrestha stated that Dr. Ambedkar was o­ne of the most venerated national leaders. He also stated that Ambedkar left us not just the legacy of the Constitution but also a lasting legacy in humanitarianism. Drawing attention to some of his life-time endeavours in the up-liftment of masses and his efforts for greater inclusion of the marginalized, Shri Kulshrestha stated that will remain an abiding inspiration for generations to come and especially to Railway personnel who are deeply entwined in public services.
